This Years Oscar Roundup Of Style Worthy Looks

Paris is Fashion Week’s most headlined act and Carven’s Fall Ready-to-wear collection was my stylish winner this year. I found the minimalist palette with a dash of rich colours, the perfect combination of classic 90’s style with a modern touch. I highlighted the pieces that I loved and when it comes to natural timeless glamour, the first word that comes to mind is the Oscar’s red carpet. Where stars come to shine wearing the most incredible collection of gowns and even some amazing, sorted jumpsuits.

And when it comes to this season, I have curated a roundup of Oscar-worthy styles that are most wanted. This way you can feel glamour while keeping up with some of the red-carpet trends. What has been shown quite a bit on many award stages is the bold colour choices, lots of volume, and the metallic with a business edge. And if you are too uncomfortable about mixing these show-stopping trends, don’t worry since I have picked out a few looks that anyone can wear no matter your style.

This is the most obvious conclusion but, a lot of people don’t even really watch the Oscars anymore. The shows have become drawn out and boring. And some stars use tactics to not just thank people close to them that made their win possible, but voice how they feel on different issues going on. I think it is better if they stick to just what they are there for and leave the righteous causes to other moments.

The comedy from the show must be in celebrities taking way too long for their speeches. Does anyone else remember that music they play when you must get off the stage? I used to see stars going off their heads when this used to begin. Course, you also get a host who wins the crowd by making fun of certain people, comedians perhaps but the most gut-wrenching thing about the Oscars is how long it is. Way too drawn-out for my liking and I think it should be properly condensed to a shorter time slot. The only area of the show I truly love is the fashion red carpet Oscar looks. You get to see your favourite starlets dressed to the hill in such gorgeous styles. And it can give you some fashion inspiration to work these styles into your wardrobe.

 Bold Red

There is nothing more Oscar-worthy than a red-carpeted dress. And a bold red seems to be this year’s most sought-after colour. I just love this hue it reminds me of Valentino as well as Balenciaga. These two brands were known for using bold red in a lot of their earlier collections. It became sort of an iconic hue for both brands. I love this colour personally; you can wear it in so many ways and make a very stylish statement. If you are colorphobic and find a rich bold red like this isn’t for you, the best way to include this colour is by wearing it as an accessory instead.

Like a pair of red shoes or a luxe handbag to bring a pop of colour into your closet.

All About The Volume

The next style that is blowing up on red carpets and will most likely be trending for the Oscars is very big volume. Now even though you see this trend through gowns and dresses, the way I would interpret this trend for an everyday stylish look is through high-rise pants with a wider leg. I think high-waisted trousers and jeans are incredibly flattering to all women and just look so timeless.

Futuristic Acessories

The most futuristic style is an accessory a pair of oversized sunglasses in metallic hues and even some abnormal shapes.

Metallic And Business

And metallics mixed with business attitude seems to be another trend we are seeing. Try a metallic dress or jumpsuit and put a structured blazer over it for an instant transitional piece. Go from in the office during the day, to removing the blazer and having a cocktail at night on the town in a metallic silver dress.
